for your next event

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How much does it cost to rent Taylor's Hall for Events?

$65.00 for a 4-hour block and $10 per hour for each additional hour needed. Click here for a price sheet and an Event Planning guide in .pdf format. The time you block out is the time you will have access to Taylor's Hall. If you need additional time for set-up, please factor this into the time you reserve for your event.

2. What is the capacity?

By fire code, the maximum is 62 persons. A true comfortable fit - with tables, chairs and food areas - would be closer to 45-50 depending on the arrangment of tables.

3. Can we use outside catering?

Absolutely. We do have an in-house caterer, but you are more than welcome to bring in your own food or have another caterer deliver. Beverages are the exception. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased fromThe Wine Sellers, coffees and teas through Sullivan Taylor Coffee House. Please keep in mind, beverages need to be ordered in advance. Bartender services are also available through The Wine Sellers.

4. Who do I call for questions or to check dates?

Just call The Wine Sellers at (309) 836-9463. They are the caretakers for Taylor's Hall and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
